Dr. Cooper is an Assistant Professor of Behavioral Sciences and Health Education in the Rollins School of Public Health. She earned her Sc.D. from the Harvard School of Public Health. Her areas of research interest are the social determinants of drug use and of related harms, including HIV. Her current research projects include, “Spatial Variations in IDU HIV Risk: Relationships to Structural Interventions,” (NIDA), and “Community Vulnerability & Response to IDU-Related HIV” (NIDA).
