  • We had more participants expected to be followed for a 12 month period (282) than any other site ... which is 26 ppts. more than the next closest site (UCLA)
  • We were one of 3 sites to increase retention % at 12 mos. compared to 6 mo.
  • Atlanta had the best retention improvement from 6 mos. to 12 mos. (4%) AND...
  • Atlanta retained more participants (#) at both 6 and 12 month time points (210 and 220) than any other site; 4 more than next closest site at 6 mos. & 14 more than next closest site at 12 mos.

The CDC’s National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP) has released its Atlas, a new tool that will allow users to create maps, charts, and tables using HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB surveillance data.

Effective with all awards issued after December 23, 2011, NIH has reduced the salary cap that may be requested in budgets being submitted to NIH. In previous years, salary caps had been tied to Executive Level I of the Federal Executive Pay Scale ($199,700), they are now pegged at Executive Level II ($179,700).

Spotlight! | Action Cycling Atlanta

Too much rain and/or cold weather making you jones for a warm and dry place to ride your bike? Has Action Cycling Atlanta (ACA) got a deal for you!!

ACA, the amazing volunteers who have, to date, raised more than $1,000,000 for AIDS vaccine research through their annual AIDS Vaccine 200 ride*, are organizing "Spin to End 2012," an indoor cycling fundraiser to benefit AIDS vaccine research.
