Kudos...
=SBSRN

... to Michael Blank (Penn CFAR) on the news that his NIH/NICHD application for R13 funding for the next five CFAR Social & Behavioral Science Research Network (SBSRN) meetings received a perfect score....10 and a 1 percentile!! As Dr. Blank said in an email to SBSRN Executive Board members Gina Wingood and Ralph DiClemente, this certainly demonstrates the strength of the SBSRN network and how it is valued within the CFARs and beyond!

As a reminder, the next five SBSRN meetings will be in Washington DC (2013), Los Angeles (2014), Miami (2015), Chicago (2016), and San Francisco (2017).

In other news...
=Happy Birthday

...best wishes to JoAnn White (today, 3/26), Maureen Mittler (Thursday, 3/29), and Paula Frew (Sunday, 4/1) as each of them embarks on another ambitious 587 million mile trip around the Sun.

Spotlight! | Mandatory Training for Investigators Conducting Clinical Research at Emory

Emory is resuming the training requirements set forth by the School of Medicine, the Clinical Trials Task Force and the Clinical Trials Executive Committee. The training was put on hold in 2011 due to difficulties with the on-line training environment. Most of those issues have now been resolved.
