. . . . to Rana Chakraborty on the fulfillment of his longstanding dream to put together a Pediatric HIV/AIDS training course. (See "Save the Date" section). Rana, who will serve as Course Director, received support for the course from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, the Paediatric European Network for the Treatment of AIDS, and the Pediatric Infectious Disease Society.

David Chae

David Chae received his first NIH grant (K01AG041787; “Psychobiology of Racial Minority Stress and Cellular Aging"). His research will examine the role of inflammation, endocrine stress biomarkers, and leukocyte telomere length (LTL) as novel indicators of racial minority stress and health in people with and without HIV.

Anupa has a strong virology, immunology and molecular biology background with expertise in the field of construction of recombinant viruses, infectious clones, IVD molecular diagnostics. Recently promoted as Lead Product Development Scientist (Senior Scientist) in IVD assay development for infectious diseases (Flu, EBV, and Clostridium difficile assay development) with expertise in preparing documents including SOPs, MSPs, MBR, and other product development documents.
