  Sequestration

On 2/21 NIH issued the NIH Operation Plan in the Event of a Sequestration

Speaking of sequestration, the CDC has cancelled the 2013 HIV Prevention Leadership Summit. The current plan is to hold the next HPLS in late 2014.

The first general meeting of CFAR faculty for the Women's Interagency Health Study (Co-PIs: Igho Ofotokun and Gina Wingood) was held over lunch on March 7. Attending were 17 CFAR faculty, 3 community partners and, from NIH, WIHS Program Officer Carlie Williams, CFAR NCI/NIH project officer Geraldina Dominguez, and RSPH alum Rosemary McKaig.
