Divider RuleQuote of the Day...

"They may be 33 years old now and not making a lot of money, but in a few years they can just go to K Street and make $500,000 a year. Meanwhile I’m stuck here making $172,000."
—Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-Georgia)
Justifying his support for the House Republican budget bill rider denying members of Congress, their staffs, and White House staff members the government subsidies (tax credits) that will be available to all other Americans who buy insurance coverage through the new exchanges; thereby forcing poorly paid junior staff to pay for their healthcare completely out of pocket.

"Lemmings with suicide vests"
—Rep. Devin Nunes (R-California)
