Divider RuleQuote of the Day...

The highest risk for HIV in Africa is from a person you are in a relationship with and the highest risk for HIV among MSM in the US is from a person you are in a relationship with. So after 25 years of success in Africa [in reducing HIV infections through Couples Voluntary Counseling and Testing] we had this light bulb moment and thought: 'If it is working in Africa why don't we try it in the US?'
- Patrick Sullivan and Rob Stephenson
Describing the origin of their "Testing Together" initiative which is now spreading to Canada.

Spotlight! | Everything You Wanted to Know About How the NIH Re-start May Affect You But Were Afraid to Ask

NIH Logo

Now that the NIH is back in business you might have some questions about how the restart is going to affect you.

Do you wonder...

What your new application due dates are?

How you can replace an application that was submitted for an October due date?

How you can "refresh" a submitted application that has been reassigned to a May review date?

When missed study section meetings will be rescheduled?

Whether your Early Stage Investigator eligibility was affected?

(aka the "Guidance on Resumption of NIH Extramural Activities Following the Recent Lapse in Appropriations")
