     Carlos del Rio NIH/NIAID Director Tony Faucci on tapping Carlos del Rio to be Chair of NIAID's AIDS Research Review Committee (AIDSRRC). During his term (7/1/14 - 6/30/15) Carlos will supervise the review of grant applications and contract proposals and advise Dr. Faucci on program activities of the Institute.

... Remember a couple of weeks ago when we reported that the CDC has issued a revision to the HIV Surveillance Case Definition? Turns out that Rana Chakraborty and Carlos del Rio were part of the external consultative group that helped make that happen. Yay CFAR!!
