     Akshay Sharma

... to Akshay Sharma on winning the Texas HIV/STD Student Research Award for an oral presentation on his dissertation research: "Acceptability and Intended Usage Preferences for Six HIV Testing Options Among Internet-using Men Who Have Sex with Men." After a blind review of submitted abstracts earlier this year, the Award Selection Committee invited Akshay and 2 other finalists to speak at the Texas HIV/STI Prevention Conference. Akshay's talk was so super fine that the others got voted off the island..
