Clinical Posters Sought: CFAR Network Pizza Party

The CFAR Clinical Research Core, directed by Jeff Lennox, Igho Ofotokun, Vince Marconi and Colleen Kelley, will be hosting the November meeting of the CFAR Network 'Pizza Party' (see Footlights below)

Are you interested in presenting your research during the "Pizza and Posters" networking session from 5:30pm - 6:00pm? We are taking self-nominations for posters to be displayed at the meeting.

  • Posters may focus on any aspect of HIV-related clinical research.
  • Posters describing work supported by the CFAR are eligible for a poster award
  • Posters may describe new work or be recycled from conferences held < 2 years ago
  • CFAR will pay for printing, under certain conditions
  • One of the poster authors must be on hand to present the poster

If you are interested in nominating one or more posters please send your name, department, poster title(s), and a copy of the poster abstract(s) to Igho Ofotokun (iofotok@emory.edu)

The White House announces that on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 4:30 – 6:30 PM EST there will be a reception honoring the 27 years in Federal service of CFAR super-advocate, Dr. Ron Valdiserri.

Dr. Valdiserri is Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health, Infectious Diseases, and Director, Office of HIV/AIDS and Infectious Disease Policy, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
