PhD Students ... Win a $1000 Scholarship

The Emory CFAR Prevention Science Core is pleased to announce a writing competition for PhD students at CFAR sites nationwide. We would like to invite students to submit proposals for analyses using our dataset from the 2014 American Men's Internet Survey (AMIS), an annual cross-sectional online HIV behavioral survey of men who have sex with men (MSM) in the United States.

We will select proposals for manuscript development and the winning manuscript will receive a $1000 scholarship to attend a scientific conference.

PDF copies of the contest rules, 2014 AMIS survey, and a list of analysis topics that are already published or in progress are linked below. Downloadable (Microsoft Word) copies of the proposal template and a draft Memorandum of Understanding are also linked below.

Proposals are due April 1, 2016 and final manuscripts will be due August 1, 2016.

Please submit proposals, as well as any questions, to the AMIS study team at amis@emory.edu.
