Dear CFAR Investigators:
CROI (the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections) has become THE premier HIV research meeting and we are pleased to let you know that the Emory CFAR is very well represented at CROI 2016, to be held next week in Boston.

You can access the electronic materials for the meeting at:

Some CROI 2016 highlights:
Guido Silvestri is a member of the CROI Scientific Program Committee.

NINE Emory affiliated investigators are receiving Young Investigator Awards. These include Sama Adnan, Sara Auld, Emily Cartwright, Erica Johnson, Nitasha Kumar, Luca Micci, David Palesch, Joseph Sharp, and Kevin Weiss.
Congratulations to all of you on this wonderful recognition.

Patrick Sullivan will be presenting at a Workshop on Clinical Trial Design and Analysis on "Using Big Data to Improve HIV care and Prevention Continuum."

All told, Emory CFAR members are giving 9 oral abstract presentation; 4 presentations at themed discussion sessions, and 31 poster presentations.
This is an excellent showing of the incredible work being done at Emory.

Please acknowledge the Emory CFAR in your presentations (P30 AI050409). This is the year of our competitive renewal and it is particularly important that the Emory CFAR be publically seen as making a difference by contributing to the advancment of HIV research. Acknowledging the CFAR in your presentations will help make that happen.
