CFAR Interdisciplinary Research Groups

IRGs receive Administrative Core assistance in reserving meeting space, scheduling meetings, establishing and maintaining IRG-specific listservs, making conference calling capability available during meetings, and advertising IRG meetings through CFAR channels.

Email the CFAR Administrative Core if you are interested in starting a new IRG.

Translational Research Interdisciplinary Group (TRIG)

The TRIG meets monthly to facilitate multi-disciplinary collaboration between basic, behavioral and public health scientists, promote the submission of applications in translational research, support ongoing translational research projects, and provide a "mentorship collective" for participating investigators (traditional & peer-bidirectional).

Participants sign up in advance to present their current research interests and/or a draft of funding applications that are in progress. Attendance is open to all CFAR members and conference calling capability is available to participants who can not attend a meeting in person.
