Connect to Community

COMMUNITY LIAISON COUNCIL (CLC)

The mission of the CFAR Community Liaison Council is to support open communication between CFAR researchers and community members to ensure that HIV-related research findings are shared with the community and community concerns are shared with HIV researchers to promote health equity in the South.

community engagement

Our local community centers the work of the Emory CFAR. Through efforts of community-engaged investigators and the Emory CFAR Community Liaison Council, community involvement in HIV research at Emory is evolving to be a multidirectional conversation starting at the initial brainstorming and proposal development stage to advance science in partnership with community.
